If you were to accuse the Topology editorial staff of being word nerds, you wouldn’t be wrong. Case in point: we affectionately refer to the weeks between our three-week issue themes as “parentheticals,” and the occasional second in-between weeks as “asides.”
This week, we encounter our very first Asides week, which will feature one piece from each of our editors, working both within and outside of our usual genres. In the future, we hope that both Parenthetical and Aside weeks will provide opportunity for mini-themes, some of them curated by guest editors.
To learn more about contributing to one of these weeks, including a list of potential themes, please check out our new guest editor guidelines. We very much look forward to seeing what the extended Topology community will come up with for these weeks, from places all around the world!
