Ann Klotz
Ann Klotz is a mother, writer, and head of a girls' school in Shaker Heights, Ohio. For twenty-seven summers, she and her husband Seth ran the Ensemble Theatre Community School, a residential summer theatre training program for high school actors in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania. Eagles Mere, where her family has spent summers since 1912, is the place she thinks of as home, and much of her personal writing centers on her family’s experiences in this tiny town on top of a mountain. Her work has appeared on the Brevity Blog, in Literary Mama, Mothers Always Write, The Feminine Collective, and in a recent anthology about teaching published by Creative Nonfiction called What I Didn't Know. She blogs semi-regularly for the Huffington Post.
