Deborah Lewis
Deborah Lewis writes at Snow Day (deborahlewis.net) and is a contributor to There’s a Woman in the Pulpit: Christian Clergywomen Share Their Hard Days, Holy Moments & the Healing Power of Humor. She makes her home in the foothills of Charlottesville, Virginia, a half-hour's drive from the Appalachian Trail. In the winter she can see that far through the trees. She loves the sounds of crickets, cicadas, and rain through a cracked window when she’s falling asleep, and the smell of coffee when she’s waking up. She aspires to one day have her own screened-in porch and to spend a decent chunk of time on it each day. In the meantime, she serves as campus minister and director of the Wesley Foundation at the University of Virginia.
