Gail Heffner

Originally from Pittsburgh, Gail Heffner grew up among the hills of western Pennsylvania and she is still pondering how that hilly landscape affects her view of the world. Now living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Gail has a Ph.D. in Urban Studies and currently works at Calvin College as a faculty member directing the Office of Community Engagement. She loves photography as one way to look for beauty in the midst of this broken world.
