Hannah Thyberg
Hannah Thyberg is a Pittsburgh native. She was raised in an intentional community in the inner city, and now lives in an adjacent neighborhood. She loves Pittsburgh for its unique ability to combine metropolitan amenities with a small-town feel. Hannah is a graduate of the Templeton
Honors College at Eastern University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Her concentration of study was Interpersonal & Organizational Communications. After completing her undergraduate degree, Hannah went back to school and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the University Of Pittsburgh’s School of Nursing accelerated second degree program. She has been working in the field of pediatric nursing since February of 2015, in both hospital and homecare settings. In addition to her work as a nurse, Hannah volunteers with a hospice organization, providing companionship and support to elderly patients. Her writing has previously been featured in Catapult Magazine. Hannah is currently working on a book publication about living with invisible illness.
