Kierstan Barbre was born and raised in the central plains of Oklahoma. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she has served in a variety of administrative and service roles. A transplant to Indiana, Kierstan currently works with a non-profit organization advocating for students within the public school system. Kierstan has an abiding love and appreciation for her native Oklahoma, its people and history. A fondness for Oklahoma’s characteristically ruddy red soil, silted waterways, and varietal landscapes are inspirations for her writing. This is her second published work.
