Travis Poling

Travis Poling

Travis Poling is a poet and photographer whose work focuses closely on the natural world through abstraction, plain speech, and pilgrimage through the regional landscape. He grew up in the Cumberland Valley forests of Pennsylvania, and currently lives in the wooded plains of east central Indiana where he teaches writing to college students. His poems have been published in anthologies as well as ALBA, Clementine, CrossCurrents, DreamSeeker, and The Heron's Nest. His photography has appeared in regional art shows, and currently documents the Wapinepay (Whitewater River) Gorge in Richmond, Indiana. You can find his work online at his web site.
