Elisabeth Wenger lives just outside Three Rivers, not a quarter mile from the highest naturally-occurring point in St. Joseph County (the actual highest point is the landfill). She works on two nearby farms, tending a wild assortment of vegetables, sheep, and chickens. The quiet fields and the ever-varying tasks of farming are both inspiration and place for contemplation. Elisabeth has a degree in creative writing from Houghton College and is the poetry editor for Topology Magazine.
